The Academy of Saint Matthias the Apostle

Small Classes, BIG Results!

2nd Grade Kariann Campbell

Kariann Campbell is currently the second grade teacher and has worked in the field of education since 2013. She has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Salisbury University. She is thrilled to be looping with her students this coming school year. Her favorite book to use in the classroom is Ish by Peter H. Reynolds because the main character Ramon learns that everything does not always have to be perfect to be celebrated. In her spare time, Kariann enjoys spending time with family and being outside.

An interesting fact about Kariann is that she has completed the Marine Corps Marathon.

Catholic Schools Week

Thank you to everyone who supported our school during Catholic Schools Week. The culmination of our busy week was a school-and–family Mass held Friday afternoon. Service is an important part of Catholic education and our students and faculty have written their service commitments on their “hands”. Please take a look at our “service hands” and posters around the church.
