Ms. Julie Kelly Wins Archdiocese of Washington Golden Apple Award

On Wednesday, April 20, the community of Saint Matthias gathered together to surprise Mrs. Julie Kelly with the announcement that she has won one of the Archdiocese of Washington Golden Apple Awards.

Students sang the “Kindhearted Hands” song, and had Ms. Kelly walk down a hallway of gold balloons.  The teachers baked gold cupcakes so everyone could share in the celebration.
