Did you know that Computer Science Education Week is happening right now? December 8-14,   Code.org is hosting an hour of code.  An hour of code is a way to teach students of any age that Computer Science is fun.  Many of the student’s at The Academy of St. Matthias the Apostle have been participating in an hour of code. Code.org provides self-guided lessons & recommended video tutorials. This allows students to work at their own pace and skill level.  There is no experience required in learning code. This is a fun way to get students interested in Computer Science. Check out more about code at http://www.code.org. You can also go to my website for more resources at http://www.mrsmcnorris.weebly.com.

Fr. Jack’s Challenge
The actual cost of educating one child at Saint Matthias was over $2000 more than the cost of tuition. This includes instruction and educational materials, and capital improvements. Your donations help us keep our tuition costs low. Thank you for your support!
