4th Gradessmithstmatthias.orgMs. Smith is the fourth-grade teacher at the Academy of St. Matthias the Apostle. She was raised in Nashville, Tennessee, and attended college at Saint Louis University in Missouri. She is now a member of the Alliance for Catholic Education through the University of Notre Dame and is pursuing a master’s degree in education. She has spent time living and studying in Rome, Italy, and enjoys traveling, reading, drinking coffee, and spending time with loved ones. She is drawn to teaching because she believes that each student is a child of God and capable of being both a scholar and a saint. She is motivated and thankful for the opportunity to teach and is fully dedicated to walking with your child to grow both academically and spiritually.
